HAYDEN YAREMKO

FOUNDER & ADVISOR

 

With a background encompassing AAA, Junior A, and Collegiate hockey, Hayden has been deeply engaged in the sport. After concluding his playing career, he has dedicated himself to expanding his knowledge, network, and expertise within the hockey community.

​

Before the inception of Argonaut Hockey Group, Hayden spent five years scouting within the MJHL, primarily for the Dauphin Kings. From 2019 to 2025, he was actively involved with Team Manitoba at the National Aboriginal Hockey Championships, serving in various roles including manager and coach. During the 2024–25 season, Hayden was selected for and completed a Scouting Mentorship with the Boston Bruins (NHL).

 

Residing in Winnipeg with his fiancée, Hayden oversees all aspects of the daily operations at Argonaut Hockey Group. In addition to his work in hockey, he has recently begun his legal career, further broadening his professional scope and experience.

CARSON CHEREPAK

ADVISOR & GOALTENDING CONSULTANT

 

Carson brings an accomplished playing career and a wealth of goaltending expertise to Argonaut Hockey Group. From Winnipeg, Manitoba, he developed through the ranks with the Winnipeg Wild before moving on to play in the AJHL with the Sherwood Park Crusaders and the MJHL with the Dauphin Kings. His career highlights include an MJHL Championship and earning Playoff MVP honours. He later advanced to the NCAA (Division I) with Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) before continuing his career at Lakehead University.

​

Alongside his playing career, Carson has been dedicated to coaching and mentoring goaltenders. For nearly a decade, he has served as a goaltending coach with Icelab, sharing his technical knowledge and firsthand experience with aspiring goalies. His individual accolades reflect his skill and leadership in the crease, including back-to-back Manitoba U18 AAA Goalie of the Year awards, MJHL Top Goalie, Centennial Cup MVP, and Centennial Cup Top Goalie. He was also recognized early in his career as a USHL Draft Pick (Lincoln Stars) and WHL Protected Prospect (Victoria Royals).

Carson is completing both his studies and collegiate hockey career at Lakehead University while beginning his role with Argonaut Hockey Group as an Advisor and Goaltending Consultant. This unique combination allows him to draw directly from his playing experience and academic background while providing valuable insight and mentorship to the next generation of players.

JAYDEN HARRIS

ADVISOR & PLAYER DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

 

Originally from Yorkton, Saskatchewan and now residing in Calgary, Alberta, Jayden has built his career around both hockey and sport management. He began playing hockey at a young age, later moving to Regina where he progressed through U15 and U18 programs before returning to Yorkton to compete at the U18 AAA level with the Maulers, serving as team captain. He then advanced to Junior A with the Dauphin Kings of the MJHL, where he spent three seasons and played a key role in the team’s 2022 MJHL Championship and Centennial Cup appearance. Jayden was later named Assistant Captain of the Kings, and his leadership and work ethic earned him recognition as the team’s Most Inspirational Player and a spot at the MJHL Top Prospects Showcase.

​

Off the ice, Jayden has consistently contributed to the development of young athletes, assisting with minor hockey on-ice programs in both Yorkton and Dauphin. His leadership extends beyond hockey, having gained valuable management experience through his role with Waterski and Wakeboard Canada, where he coordinated international competition logistics for the U17 and U21 World Waterski Championships.

Jayden is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Calgary, where he continues to combine his academic studies with his passion for supporting aspiring hockey players. As an Advisor and Player Development Coordinator with Argonaut Hockey Group, he leverages his playing background, leadership experience, and management expertise to help athletes reach their full potential.

SABASTIEN PETO

Born and raised in Ontario, Sabastien developed a passion for hockey at an early age, with a particular focus on goaltending after a memorable game in a small-town arena in remote Ontario. His playing career took him through junior hockey in the PJHL, including a brief stint in the OJHL, before coming full circle and concluding with the Glanbrook Rangers in the PJHL—the same small town where his journey began.

​

During his time as a goaltender, Sabastien discovered a love for video editing while creating highlight reels of his saves. After hanging up his skates, he honed this skill further, leveraging his creative talents to assist businesses in coordinating their marketing efforts.

 

Sabastien now brings his unique blend of hockey experience and video production expertise to Argonaut Hockey Group, contributing to the development and promotion of players both on and off the ice.

George LaFleche

hockey operations intern

Born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba, George LaFleche has built a strong foundation in hockey analytics through progressive roles in junior and varsity sport. His passion for the game and data-driven decision-making began early, leading him into a gameday operations role with the Winnipeg Freeze of the MJHL during the 2021–22 season.

George transitioned into analytics shortly after. Serving as Head of Analytics for the Winnipeg Bruins U18 AAA, where he contributed to the team’s 2022–23 run to the provincial finals. He continued to expand his expertise with the Niagara North Stars U18 AAA in 2023–24, creating in game tracking tools and tailored data visualizations for coaching staff.

Today, George is a member of the analytics team for the Brock University men’s hockey program (USports/OUA). His work supports scouting and performance improvement through data visualization and statistical modeling,

Alongside his team roles, George is the creator of NBI Hockey, a growing digital brand focused on modern hockey analytics, education, and community engagement. He is committed to advancing how teams and fans understand the sport by making analytics more accessible, relevant, and impactful.
